This state of the art facility was completely renovated in 2016. We have 1 dedicated Operating room and 2 Procedure rooms. We are accredited by AAAHC with Medicare deemed status. AAAHC with Medicare deemed status accreditation means that the organization participates in on-going self evaluation, peer review and education to continuously improve its care and services. The organization also commits to a thorough, on-site survey by AAAHC surveyors, who are themselves health care professionals and complies with all Medicare standards for Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

Dr. Schell is a globally known, highly regarded neurosurgeon. In 2012, Dr. Schell performed an innovative anterior interbody spinal fusion procedure on national television during an international conference in Mexico. Dr. Schell also performed the first artificial lumbar disc surgery in the state of Michigan. Moreover, Dr. Schell plays a leading international role in the experimental development of single-level and two-level artificial discs for cervical disk problems. He is a leader in employing leading edge technologies to access and repair spinal structures while minimizing the damage to surrounding tissues. He regularly teaches other neurosurgeons advanced, highly specialized spinal techniques.Dr. Schell remains involved with numerous other collaborative scientific endeavors to help advance neurosurgery.
